Bakery service staff

Gudvangen Bakery & Cafe

We are looking for service minded individuals to operate our recently opened Cafe/ bakery. Positioned at the pier of Norway's most beautiful fjord, Gudvangen Bakeri & Kafe looks to provided combination of speedy quality service to guest in a hurry, passing through between ferry and buss connections, as well as those with time to relax.

Daily routine will include:

· Preparing artisan coffee (Training can be provided)

· Operating cash-points

· Guest interaction

· Cleaning of guest area and porter duties

· Preparing sandwiches and lunch packs for catering

· Stocking and inventory control

The bakery supplies in addition the cafeteria in the neighboring building with cakes, baguettes and salads and lunch take-away packages for groups.

Requirements

· A good command of English.

o Not mandatory: The ability to use a Scandinavian language is a large plus (but we also need; Spanish, French and German)

· Good teamwork and communication skills

· Prior experience in a relevant field

· Permission to work within EU

Work period- Early May/ June to Late September/ October

Starting date will be discussed individually, based on department needs and your availability.
