Seasonal with possibility of full time, May-September, specific dates to be discussed.

We are looking for friendly people able to handle a variety of questions and challenges. Combining occasional small-talk to fast and expedient service. Flexible and service minded. You will need:

· A good command of English

· Norwegian or a Scandinavian language is very useful

· Good teamwork and communication skills

· Prior experience in a relevant field

· Permission to work within the EU

· Any additional languages such as Spanish, German, French or others are welcome

Arbeidsoppgaver

You will be a point of contact for many guest, travelers, tour operators and group leaders, and serve as a connection point between many departments. This will include:

• Reception: to provide guests with information, take reservations, check guest in-and-out of rooms.

• Answer the phone and communicate with rooms division, kitchen and restaurants.

• Operate the bar, serving drinks and snacks, or help with service

• Help operate other point of sales, such as our souvenir shop or our grab-and-go F&B outlet when they are busy.

You will be working in one of the most beautiful places in Norway, surrounded by picturesque lanscape. Close by there are several nature trails, a kayaking center and viking village. Gudvangen is well connected with busses and ferries to Flåm and Voss. Where a variate of activities, shops and restaurants can be found, like skydiving, zip-lining, pubs, rafting, cinemas and more.
