Seeking an experienced analyst to shape the strategic agenda in NG Nordic

NG Nordic is hiring an analyst for the Strategy and Business Plan Implementation team. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in setting the strategic direction and realizing the business plan of the company. In this position, you will work actively at the corporate level, as well as directly with our operational business units. You will collaborate with business leaders across all segments and work closely with other group functions such as Group Sustainability, Group Finance and Group M&A on a broad range of strategic projects.

Role and responsibilities

· Qualitative and quantitative strategic analysis of relevant topics, ranging from market analysis, to supply chain optimization, operational improvements and commercial excellence

· Project and process management and support on various strategic projects

· Facilitate strategic discussions and support development of value capture plans for group leaders and functions

· Develop decision materials for group management, owners and investors

· Support on ad-hoc tasks and be a key team player for the development and execution of NG Nordic’s Strategy

Qualifications and experience:

· Master’s degree in relevant subject, e.g. strategy, management, economics, finance etc.

· 2-4 years of experience from strategy projects in industrial companies, consultancy, investment bank etc.

· Profound analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative with solid experience in power point and excel modelling

· Capability and willingness to dive into the details of any problem or project while maintaining focus on the bigger picture and ensure progress

· Ambitious, self-driven and proactive

· A good communicator and team player who builds strong relationships both internally and externally

· Fluent in English

The position reports to Head of Strategy and Business Plan Implementation in NG Nordic.
