We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Visual Communications Designer to strengthen the brand presence of Ekornes across the Nordic region. You will be joining Ekornes -- the home of some of the Nordic region’s most icon brands Stressless®, Svane® and IMG. With global operations and a proud heritage dating back to 1934, we combine Scandinavian craftsmanship, quality and forward-thinking innovation to create furniture that improves everyday living.
As Visual Communications Designer, you will be responsible for adapting global campaign assets and creating regional marketing materials across digital and print. Working in close collaboration with the Nordic sales and marketing teams, retail partners and global colleagues, you will help ensure brand consistency and local relevance across all touchpoints. You will translate marketing plans into impactful creative assets, manage deliverables across languages and formats, and contribute to the brand experience with high executional quality. This is a key role for a structured, visually sharp designer who thrives in the intersection of brand guidelines, collaboration and creative problem-solving.
As Visual Communications Designer at Ekornes, you will:
-
adapt and localize global campaign assets for the Nordic market across digital and print, including web, social media, brochures, POS and more
-
create and manage sales and marketing materials in collaboration with retail partners and internal stakeholders
-
oversee multilingual file production and ensure brand consistency and visual accuracy across channels
-
contribute to briefs and supervise external deliveries from agencies and suppliers, including CGI, translations and printed materials
-
support coordination of customer-facing marketing activities and events together with the Nordic Marketing Manager
-
collaborate with global marketing, Nordic sales and creative teams across the group to secure alignment and share best practices
-
contribute to imagery development and content creation (including CGI, animations and basic video editing)
-
manage updates to the regional media bank and ensure a smooth, structured file and production workflow
We are looking for a proactive and precise visual designer with minimum 2--4 years of experience from in-house teams, creative agencies or consumer brands. You combine creative talent with a structured mindset and a keen eye for visual consistency. You are used to working in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and ideally also in Canva. Experience with multilingual layouts and preparing files for print is essential. You enjoy working with many stakeholders and are comfortable collaborating across functions and locations. You are fluent in Norwegian and English, and thrive in a dynamic, quality-driven brand environment.
You will report to the Nordic Marketing Manager and be part of the global marketing team at Ekornes. The role is based in Oslo or Sykkylven.
