We are looking for a new Category Manager Software & IT.

In this new role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and management of this category with focus on optimizing spend, ensure quality & compliance, and drive operational excellence.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Support with strategic and operational developmentof the Indirect Spend category, with focus on Software and IT

Optimize the Corporate IT portfolio by standardizing and improving both existing and new software and hardware assets

Act as Asset Owner for selected corporate and global software, ensuring effective access, licensing, user administration, and lifecycle management

Drive cost efficiency through competition, negotiation, market analysis, and benchmarking for software and hardware

Maximize software utilization by ensuring each asset delivers continuous business value and contributes to annual performance

Lead performance & business reviews to ensure alignment with category goals, supplier accountability, and continuous improvement

Proactively support the business ensuring compliance to internal and external processes& procedures

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant economic or technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience

Documented experience in sourcing and procurement, beneficial with a strong track record in category management

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, manage high workloads, and drive strategic decisions with confidence

Proven experience navigating organizational dynamics and collaborating across departments to achieve shared goals

Hands-on experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies and category plans
