What we are looking for:

a guide with strong communication skills

a motivated person who is eager to learn new things in a stimulating environment.

a person who enjoys working in a team.

a person who loves interacting with people from all over the world.

an extremely flexible person.

a person who loves Northern Europe and its unpredictable weather.

a person who can drive in even difficult conditions (snow, ice, darkness).

driving licence B

a person who already holds a licence to transport persons (kjøreseddel) or otherwise meets all the requirements for obtaining one quickly.

possibly someone who has already worked in Norway.

someone who speaks excellent English and a second foreign language, mainly Italian.

with a basic knowledge of photography.

Arbeidsoppgaver

Operating since 2011, Lofoten Lights is a company that offers year-round guiding services.

We take around 5,000 passengers on excursions each year, both in winter as well as summer.

We offer guided tours, photography tours, excursions to see the Northern Lights in winter and the midnight sun tours.

We cater to international clients and our excursions are open to everyone, including individual clients (small groups of up to 7 people, in 8-seater minivans), small groups and large groups.

What we do: we take our clients on a journey of discovery around the archipelago, introducing them to its most iconic spots, sharing the history and traditions of this place with them, and striving to make every single experience unique.

What we offer:

permanent contract or on-call contract, depending on the candidate's requirements.

The details of the contract will be discussed separately with candidates interested in the position.
