About the Role

As Technical Product Manager -- Rudder, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our rudder systems, from concept and development to delivery, service, and continuous improvement. You will define product strategies, ensure technical excellence, and collaborate across engineering, sales, and aftermarket teams to deliver value to our global customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for rudder systems, aligning with Neuver’s strategic goals.
• Drive product development initiatives in collaboration with engineering and hydrodynamics teams.
• Together with the Hydrodynamic team make sure to be in front both for maneuvering capacities and propulsion efficiency.
• Ensure product performance, safety, and compliance across all lifecycle stages.
• Act as the technical authority for rudder systems, supporting sales, service, and customer engagements.
• Benchmark competitor offerings and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, marine, or systems engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in product management or technical leadership, ideally within the maritime industry.
• Strong understanding of rudder or steering systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Norwegian is a plus.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
