To lead this next phase and accelerate our global revenue, we’re looking for an experienced Commecial director.

Testnor is a technology company aiming to build technological robustness and resilience through testing. We are expanding our team to meet the global demand for testing advanced and innovative technologies for operations in some of the world’s most challenging environments -- the Arctic.

With support from NATO, the Norwegian and European Space Agencies, Testnor develops novel services and digital products to ensure that mission-critical technologies --- in transportation, aerospace, defence, autonomy, and more --- can perform reliably under demanding and extreme conditions. Our services are highly requested by some of the world’s leading technology companies, government agencies, and international research institutions.

Growing demand

In today’s increasingly connected and unpredictable world, resilient communication, navigation, and sensing technologies are essential for civilian safety and coordination. Natural disasters, cyberattacks, and electromagnetic interference can disrupt critical systems, threatening emergency response, healthcare, transportation, and everyday life.

We operate in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market, and our customers develop and apply novel and disruptive technologies where rigorous validation and assessment are essential to ensure reliability, security, and real-world performance in complex and challenging environments.

The role

As Commercial Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy that takes us from a scale-up to international market leader. You will work with sales, partnerships, pricing, and revenue operations, and closely with the leadership team to shape how we grow across regions.

The role is hands-on for someone who thrives in high-growth environments and knows how to turn ambition into predictable, scalable revenue. You will:

  • Define and execute our commercial strategy, aligning go-to-market, pricing, and partnerships with our growth objectives

  • Develop a high-performing commercial team across sales, account management, and partnerships

  • Drive international expansion, including market entry strategies and local partner ecosystems

  • Own revenue performance, including pipeline, forecasting, and growth targets

  • Develop strategic partnerships that unlock new markets and accelerate customer acquisition

  • Collaborate closely with the rest of the team to ensure strong product-market fit and compelling value propositions

Who we’re looking for

You are commercially driven with experience from guiding a company through rapid growth and into international markets. You bring:

  • 5+ years in commercial, sales, or revenue leadership roles, ideally in B2B, tech, or high-growth environments

  • Proven experience scaling revenue across multiple geographies

  • A track record of building and leading successful sales and partnership teams

  • Strong entrepreneurial and strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset

  • Confidence working with founders, boards, and investors in a scale-up environment

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
