As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for a: Pipe Support Engineer for an exciting project at Mongstad .

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?

• Perform 3D modelling of pipe supports in E3D

• Produce pipe support drawings and related documentation

• Carry out tasks within the piping & layout discipline

• Actively contribute in workshops, coordination meetings and discipline meetings

• Ensure high-quality technical deliverables and efficient collaboration across disciplines

We think you should have:

• Experience from maintenance and modification projects within the Oil & Gas industry

• Strong experience with 3D modelling in E3D for pipe supports, including CAP support

• Familiarity with key piping disciplines (layout, support, stress, material handling)

• Good multidiscipline understanding

• Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations and industry requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field

• Experience with pipe support drawing production

• Experience with pipe support design
