Hatteland Technology is hiring a Design Engineer - Electronics

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer who is passionate about designing products or systems for industrial applications. You will join a good working environment and work with cross-functional teams to design products that deliver the company’s innovative technology solutions. 

As a Design Engineer in Electronics you will work with several exciting and varied work tasks - from developing and testing new products, through managing suppliers, to validating and debugging new designs. You will get to take ownership of the products.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Your main responsibility is to design electronic components, products, or systems for industrial applications. You will be assisting production with complex problems, as well as making sure safety regulations and quality requirements are met.

 

Other responsibilities will include

• Electronic circuit development and analysis
  
• EMC testing and measurements
  
• Writing and analyzing component specifications
  
• Writing technical reports
  
• Responsibility for external developments and validation of electronic components
  
• Cooperation with external teams (e.g., Taiwan) on designs and validation of components and systems
  
• Developing test procedures for electronic components and equipment 
  
• Cooperation with computer engineers
  
• Performing preventative maintenance and calibration of R&D equipment

Key qualifications

We are looking for a Design Engineer  with a degree in electronic engineering or a related field. You have a high level of technical knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems.

In addition you must have

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  
• proven experience in using schematics design tools
  
• understanding of EMC
  
• soldering experience
  
• proficiency in English

To succeed in the role, it will be crucial that you are curious and have attention to details. You should also have the ability to work under pressure.
