Head Chef Wanted for Gatsby in Bodø About the Position:

Gatsby in Bodø is looking for a passionate and ambitious Head Chef to help further develop a kitchen with high standards and great potential. We are seeking someone who loves food, thrives on responsibility, and wants to lead a dedicated team in a creative and energetic restaurant environment. Experience with Josper Grill is a plus, as it plays a central role in our menu.

Responsibilities:

• Daily operations and management of the kitchen

• Staff responsibility and development of the kitchen team

• Ordering, inventory control, and financial oversight

• Ensuring routines for quality, cleanliness, and hygiene are followed

• Facilitating strong cooperation between kitchen and front-of-house for an optimal guest experience

Qualifications:

• Professional chef certification with relevant leadership experience

• Experience with à la carte and grilling -- preferably with Josper Grill

• Solid understanding of ingredients, flavor profiles, and kitchen economics

• Strong communication skills in Norwegian or English

• Ability to motivate and build a strong team culture
