We are seeking nurses for permanent positions in Vadsø, Northern Norway

The department includes a nursing home, care and residential facilities, as well as the Vidjeveien housing community. All units provide 24-hour care. The newly built nursing home (2023) has 17 beds, the care facilities have 34 apartments, and the Vidjeveien housing community has 10 apartments. The department is actively focusing on welfare technology and has been certified as a “Livsgledehjem” (Joy of Life Home), aiming to enhance the quality of life and empowerment for residents.

• 100% permanent position
• Rotational shift schedule 
• Long shifts are preferred. This will provide you with greater flexibility and longer periods off in the work schedule

• Clinical nursing care and follow-up

• Has authorization as a registered nurse in an EU country
• You must know Norwegian or Swedish. If you are not familiar with either language, you will be offered a Norwegian language course. You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, as the course is taught from English to Norwegian.
• Experience in elderly and dementia care is highly valued
• Team leadership experience is a plus
• Further education in geriatrics or dementia/elderly psychiatry is an advantage
• Police clearance and health certificate for tuberculosis and MRSA required upon employment
