As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Civil Engineer/ Construction Lead (Concrete & Civil)

The project is located inBergen (Kollsnes/Sture).

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

• Follow up the civil contractor’s deliveries, capacity, and execution

• Ensure progress according to contract, milestones, and budget

• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with requirements, specifications, and procedures

• Actively contribute to the Construction Management team with planning, prioritization, and method selection

• Identify deviations and challenges, and follow up corrective actions

• Follow up MC documentation and reporting of non-conformances

• Collaborate with the project organization with strong focus on Health & Safety (HSE) procedures.

• Technical education within civil engineering / construction (concrete is an advantage)

• Documented experience with concrete structures

• Experience from industrial construction projects

• Experience with contractor follow-up

• Leadership experience from projects

• Strong collaboration skills, structured working style, and a strong focus on HSE work and compliance with applicable requirements

• Fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
