This position reports to our North Europe Shared Services Manager.
Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the regional HR Administration team, providing guidance, development and support in handling complex questions and problems related to Shared Services functions.
- Serve as the primary interface between the HR Administration team, GBS (Global Business Services), HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), and IDS (Integrated Data Services).
- Foster strong partnerships across the P&C function, delivering value-added services to both management and employees that align with the organization's business objectives.
- Drive business process transformation and improvement initiatives, focusing on standardization, simplification, and best-in-class end-to-end processes for P&C offerings, including Employee Services, Data Management, and Reporting.
- Implement key levers such as standardization, consolidation, automation, and process enhancements to strengthen internal controls, improve customer service, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Lead the identification, development, and execution of process improvement program initiatives, aligning with global and local strategic objectives within the Shared Services organization.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business's financial position, mid-range plans, culture, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions and recommendations.
You are meant for this job if:
- Minimum of ten years of relevant human resources experience. Previous Shared services organizational experience preferred. Experience leading teams directly required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.
- Working knowledge of various human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, adept at handling multiple, competing, and ever-changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in PC skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Highly skilled in interpersonal communication, capable of effectively engaging with personnel at all levels, as well as external suppliers and organizations.
- Strong presentation skills, able to prepare and deliver impactful presentations.
- Act as a role model for the organization's core values and behavioral expectations through effective communication, coaching, and leading by example.
- Partner with the internal communication team to ensure employees are well-informed about key business drivers, performance expectations, and behavioral standards.
- Collaborate with line management, employees, and other P&C staff members to assess current P&C programs and introduce innovative initiatives to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Ensure the successful communication and implementation of new policies and programs, aligning them with defined goals and objectives to drive positive outcomes.
