We are seeking another Legal Counsel to our team! As part of Group Legal’s Digital team, you will play a key role in supporting DNV’s expanding digital business landscape.

Our team is now responsible for providing legal support not only to the business area Digital Solutions, the Veracity marketplace, Group Research and Development, and Global Shared Services, but also to DNV’s growing cybersecurity business.

You will be advising on a wide range of legal matters related to technology, software licensing, data use, intellectual property, and cybersecurity.

Your work will involve supporting strategic projects, shaping digital business models, contributing to contract negotiations, and helping manage legal risk in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across the organization.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a pragmatic and business-oriented legal counsel, with no less than 5 years relevant legal experience, with a strong interest in digital innovation and emerging legal challenges.

You should have a solid legal background (master of law), preferably with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Technology law

• IT contracting

• Data protection

• Intellectual property

• or cybersecurity

International experience within any of the above areas will be considered a benefit and solid proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
