Job Description: As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity. You will work closely with Rig Manager, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and control all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure that all documents are properly filed, indexed, and stored in accordance with company standards.
- Marine & Ship documents
- Drilling & Technical Documents
- Maintain document control systems and databases.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures.
- Provide training and support to team members on document control processes.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation for client and regulatory submissions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in the offshore drilling or oil and gas industry, alternatively shipping industry.
- Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluently in Norwegian and English.
