Arbeidsoppgaver
- Be the main Supply Chain contact for Project Manager and act as a coordinator between Components Purchaser, QC and Project Manager in assigned project.
- In assigned project, responsible for on time delivery, production cost and related budget, reporting of deviations to Project Manager.
- Responsible for purchasing and sourcing activities related to production.
- Ensure that you are introduced to and aligned with company Code of Conduct.
- Ensure that your tasks comply with the Integrated Management System (IMS), Project
- Executing Model (PEM) and the local QEHS System and QEHS rules and requirements.

- Be the main contact person on assigned projects for Project Manager.
- Act as a Coordinator within Supply Chain functions to ensure we reach project budget and delivery time.
- Responsible for follow up project budget on production cost, inform and report to PM,
- Project Controller and Purchase Manager changes in cost according to DOA.
- Responsible for analysing and reporting cost-, time- and quality impact of changes in Supply Chain Scope
- Responsible for Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favourable agreements that align with the company's budget and production requirements
- Report status as required for changes in delivery times to Project Manager and Purchase Manager.
- Responsible for purchasing activities related to production and assembly in project.
- Ensure the project forecast costs for purchasing are up to date in the ERP system before month-end.
- Responsible for FIIs from the perspective of delivery time and project plan.
- Follow-up production orders with respect to order confirmation, delivery time, cost control and receipt of documentation.
- Obtain and report on project status on a regular basis.
- Responsible for, on a continuous basis, to identify and execute cost saving actions.
- Approve VOs based on TQ/TN for Vendors related to cost, according to DOA and delivery schedule, contribute VO to Customer.
- Contribute to risk management in project with special focus on supply chain disruptions
Register, follow up and close supplier Claims and LD, for breach in Quality/Scope/Delivery time. - Meeting own KPI's and contributing to department KPI's.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline procurement processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices for procurement
- Other duties as assigned by your leader.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Adequate education at Bachelor level
- Preferred degree in Technical University, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics Management or Science
- Technical/Commercial background with documented results in similar positions may compensate for formal education
Experience:
Competencies:
- Good communication and influencing skills with a pleasant and polite attitude
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms, pricing, and conditions with suppliers, while also building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Tidiness and ability to “Multitask”
- Teamworker
- Fluent English, oral and written
- Mature personality and ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
- Flexibility in regards to travelling to other OSD/ MacGregor locations is a requirement
