The medical department in Kongsvinger is in a development phase where we are increasing our capacity to be able to treat the growing number of emergency patients in the vicinity. We are excited to add new nurses to our team. Our nurses provide care to their patients by administering medications, observing symptoms and progress, recording information and communicating with doctors and other health care providers.
Those who are new in our organisation and as a nurse in our wards will receive at least 3 weeks of supervision and training together with a more senior member of the staff to ensure that you feel safe working on your own.

Duties and responsibilities:
- On our wards use we both, the concept of team-nursing and primary nursing. Primary nursing entails having overall responsibility for assigned patients on duty; medication management, examinations and systematic observations, care, pre-visits/visits, interaction with municipalities, next of kin contact, etc.
- Nurses in in our team has a more comprehensive role, dedicating more time to each patient, and developing the more social and assistance facet of nursing. This makes you sentral to the patient’s progression.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Nursing from an EU University.
- Be willing to relocate to Norway.
- EU citizenship or valid work permit for Norway.
- Previous work experience as a nurse is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Applicants who do not speak Norwegian, Swedish or Danish must acquire such skills within 24 month following their appointment and must be fluent in English in the interim period
