Skuld Hull is growing and is now searching for a Claims Executive for our head office in Oslo. In this role you will handle claims within all aspects of Hull & Machinery, Energy Property Damage (PD), Loss of hire and other associated insurances where Skuld is a co-insurer (follower).

As a Claims Executive in Skuld, you will be part of a world leading marine insurance provider where service and competence is key. • Handle all types of hull and energy PD claims, including but not limited to groundings, collisions, salvage cases, machinery damages etc. where Skuld is a co-insurer.
• Work closely with Skuld colleagues across departments and all segments of Marine Insurance.
• Liaise and develop good relationships with Skuld Underwriters maintaining a flow of information.
• Work closely with insurance brokers.

You will receive required training by senior colleagues and be given specific responsibilities from the start, making this a great opportunity to develop and contribute to the Team.

• Experience with H&M claims handling is beneficial
• Sea faring/Shipping industry experience is beneficial
• Interest in shipping and marine business
• Marine technical knowledge
• Familiarity with Maritime Law
• Good English communication skills - verbal and written
