Kistos Energy (Norway) is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join its team in Oslo.

The role combines financial and economic modelling with portfolio analysis and commercial decision support across producing assets, development opportunities and potential transactions.

Working closely with the Head of Commercial & Finance in Oslo and the Group finance team at Kistos' headquarters in London, you will contribute to both the Norwegian business and wider Group analyses and decision support.

You will translate technical and commercial assumptions into economic consequences and help identify what matters for value, capital requirements and future decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial and economic models for assets and the portfolio

• Perform economic evaluations, valuations, scenarios and sensitivities

• Analyse key drivers of asset value, including assumptions, uncertainties and risks

• Work across disciplines to understand and challenge production, cost and investment assumptions

• Contribute to Norwegian and Group portfolio planning, including cash flow, liquidity, financing and capital requirements

• Evaluate development alternatives, investments and licence decisions

• Contribute to M&A, financing, capital structure and business development activities

• Prepare analysis and decision support for Kistos Energy Norway, Group management and the Board

Education and experience

• Master's degree in finance, economics, business or another relevant discipline

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience from E&P, investment banking, consultancy or similar

• Solid experience and understanding of the E&P sector

• Strong financial and economic modelling and investment analysis skills

• Understanding of M&A, valuation and capital structures

• Knowledge of the Norwegian petroleum tax regime

• Advanced Excel and strong data and digital skills

• Good written and spoken English and Norwegian
