• Welder 131: MIG welding with solid wire electrode
• Required experience min. 2 years preferably from a shipyard, updated welding certificate

Responsibilities:

• welding of building high-speed ferries in aluminum
• joining of sheets according to technical documentation
• working in various welding positions
• Duties include:
• Ensure the accurate fabrication of components into appropriate end products.
• Working to customer specifications.
• To ensure that company quality control procedures are always followed.
• To ensure that all jobs issued are completed within the given timescales.
• Happy to contribute with overtime needs as and when the business needs assistance.
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Health & Safety policy Skills and Experience:
• Working with Aluminiums critical. (Aluminium and brazing would be beneficial).
• Knowledge in fitting and able to fabricate from own jigs and fixtures would be advantageous.
• Can confidently read and work from engineering drawings.
• Excellent verbal communication skills

An experienced aluminum welders with welding certificate 131 within a manufacturing environment. will weld and fabricate products from start to finish. Using technical drawings you will ensure the highest level of quality within your work to meet order and deadlines. You will undergo full production training for the products to ensure your development to become a technical expert.
