BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions looking for new CFO for the Nordic region!

The CFO for the Nordic Cluster holds a pivotal leadership role, responsible for safeguarding financial integrity, ensuring full compliance with local and Group standards, and driving strategic financial planning across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. This role blends operational financial excellence with strategic influence, empowering the CFO to shape business performance and long?term development. The CFO reports hierarchically to the CEO of the Nordic Cluster and functionally to the CFO of Leasing Solutions Corporate.

As the CFO for the Nordic Cluster, you will be a key member of a fast?growing organization and a central contributor to strategic decision?making, governance, and business development. In this senior leadership role, you will lead a competent finance team, ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance across all Nordic entities, and act as a key member of the Executive Committee with strong cross?functional influence.

Key Responsibilities:

• full accountability for P&L performance, balance sheet accuracy, and financial controls across the Nordic cluster
• drive strategic financial guidance, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
• maintain strong relationships with local auditors in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark
• oversee all Group and local regulatory reporting, including quarterly submissions to the Norwegian FSA and contributions to ICAAP
• ensure accurate tax and VAT reporting and correct handling of all fiscal matters
• lead ALMT-related activities, including liquidity management, capital planning, and interest?rate risk oversight
• identify and mitigate financial and operational risks; implement robust first? and second?line controls
• drive automation, process efficiency, and industrialization of reporting routines
• support Group?driven initiatives in accounting, regulatory developments, and transformation programs
• collaborate with Supervisory Affairs and Structuring teams on key financial management operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent
• 8-10 years of experience in financial management, auditing or finance - ideally in an international setting
• experience within regulated and financial institutions is preferable
• strong understanding of financial systems, multi?GAAP frameworks, and prudential regulations
• proven ability to operate effectively in complex, cross?border organizations
• fluency in English and proficiency in at least one Scandinavian language
