Senior Engineer

Responsibilities and main tasks:

• Steel Design Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary expert for steel structure design and optimization.

  • Develop, analyse, and verify steel structures for diverse applications.

• Tender Phase Support:

  • Provide solution proposals and perform simplified calculations to support bids.

• Project Execution & Detail Design:

  • Lead detailed design activities and oversee project execution.

  • Follow up during fabrication to ensure compliance with design specifications.

• Composite Material Development:

  • Design, dimension, and optimize composite structures (training will be provided).

  • Carry out creative development projects involving steel and composite materials.

• Structural Analysis & Quality Assurance:

  • Execute and validate structural calculations and FEA analyses using ANSYS.

  • Perform analytical assessments and ensure quality of technical deliverables.

• Innovation & Technical Expertise:

  • Contribute to the development of new technical solutions.

  • Provide innovative input within multidisciplinary project teams.

• Testing & Validation:

  • Coordinate and oversee testing, validation activities, and technical documentation.

We are looking for a person with the following qualification:

• Master’s degree in relevant field of study

• 5-15 years of experience, preferably with offshore steel structures

• Knowledge of ANSYS or equivalent calculation programs

• Ability to work independently, document own work and ensure the quality of others

Project Engineer

Responsibilities and main tasks:

• Sketching and drawing in the tender phase

• Detailed and construction drawings during project execution

• Participation in development projects

We are looking for a person with the following qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study

• 3-10 years of experience with CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor or equivalent)

• Ability to work independently with a good understanding of construction principles

Personal qualities in both positions:

• Good communication skills in English, both written and oral, Norwegian is an advantage

• Structured, efficient and has decision-making ability

• Comfortable with working both independently and as part of a team
