About the program

In our EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program, you will develop the skills necessary to kickstart a career in ABBs Service division. As a trainee you will be a part of a community, and you will participate in activities with other trainees like taking parts in trainings to enhance soft & technical skills, meeting project deadlines, and engaging in diverse social and team-building activities to expand your network within ABB. Throughout the program you will gain exposure to different teams/roles, and build your skills and experience through challenging and impactful assignments. You will also receive support from Program Lead.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for supporting business, collaborating with different teams, and contributing to the company's strategic objectives. Gains knowledge by performing tasks as directed by the program manager/corresponding leader to support ABB's operations.

Key responsibilities

• Gain firsthand experience of the operations of the company through various assignments over the course of the program.

• Work interdisciplinary to support the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within cyber security.

• Act as the ABB representative on cyber security-related challenges, supporting the project team in customer interactions.

• Ensure ongoing compliance of our products and solutions with current cyber security regulations and standards.

• Gather skills and experience within leadership by being a professional support for project managers.

• Develop your strengths through regular performance feedback and clearly established performance objectives.

Qualifications for the role

• University degree within Cyber Security or other relevant.

• Basic understanding of electrical power systems is an advantage.

• You thrive working in project teams.

• You are at ease communicating in Norwegian and English

· Comfortable and able to work independently and structured in an efficient way.
