Job description
A funded 50 %, 3-year researcher position is available at the K.G. Jebsen Centre for Cardiac Biomarkers “” led by professor Torbjørn Omland at Campus Ahus (Akershus University Hospital), Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo.
The position is in the Cardio-Oncology work package led by Ass Prof Siri L. Heck.
The researcher will
1. Contribute to analyses and scientific manuscript preparation based on the PRADA II randomized controlled trial.
2. Conduct research in the field of epidemiology of cancer therapy related cardiovascular toxicity and cardiac dysfunction and the development and validation of cardiovascular risk scores in cancer patients.
The candidate
The candidate must document previous research experience within the field of randomized, controlled cardio-oncology trials and cardiovascular epidemiology
Qualification requirements:- MD
- Clinical experience in a relevant field (cardiology, internal medicine, etc).
- Ph.D. or equivalent (in medicine)
- Fluent in English and Norwegian
