Vard Søviknes is looking Production Planner for our Control of Production Department. Responsibilities as Production Planner in the project is to set up and update production schedules for the projects at the shipyard through the different phases of the project. You will be involved in a wide range of activities and work closely with employees, managers and other stakeholders. Building strong relationships across the organization is key to success in this role.

Duties and responsibilities
The Production Planner plays a key role in shipyard projects, combining project planning responsibilities with ownership of workload planning, subcontractor management, and production reporting within the Control of Production (COP) department.
Responsibilities as Production Planner in the project is to set up and update production schedules for the projects at the shipyard through the different phases of the projects:
- Coordinate input, prepare and maintain outfitting and commissioning schedules.
- Monitor and report project status and hours consumption in accordance with plans and budgets.
- Coordinate activities, schedules and milestones with other parties involved in the overall project execution.
- Maintain and control the activities in ERP system.
- Participate in planning activities of potential new projects.
- Prepare load curves and other reports for line and project management.
- Setup and maintain databases as input for KPIs.

Qualifications
- We are looking for candidates with planning experience, preferably from the shipbuilding industry.
- Experience with Primavera P6 is an advantage; training will be provided.
- Personal qualities are very important to us. Relevant education in an engineering or technical field, or experience from the shipbuilding industry, will be considered a plus.
- Our working languages are Norwegian and English.
