As aJunior Marine Superintendent, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our vessels meet international standards, gaining hands-on experience while working alongside industry leaders. You will also work closely with our marine superintendents and marine team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with ISM, MLC, and ISPS standards.
• Follow up legislative regulations, commercial standards, and TMSA best practices.
• Coordinate internal/external vessel audits.
• Provide guidance to ship Masters on nautical and legislative matters.
• Participate in the company’s emergency response team.
• Conduct vessel safety meetings and follow the HSE reporting system.
• Play a key role in the MOC process, supporting risk assessments and organizational changes.
• Contribute to training strategies for key onboard personnel.
• Assist in updating generic risk assessments and ensuring navigation, cargo, and mooring practices meet industry standards.
• Coordinate all marine operations with Marine and Vessel Managers.

Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Auditor certification in ISM, MLC, and ISPS codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based tools.
• Experience in risk assessment, auditing, and incident investigation.
• At least 5 years of sailing experience at the management level is preferred.
