Are you an experienced Handyman looking for an operational role at Oslo Airport?

We are looking for a Maintenance resource in a temporary position within aviation catering operations at Oslo Airport. This is a good career opportunity for someone who combines technical skills, structure and flexibility, and who thrives in a fast paced workplace.

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance operations on site are performed efficiently, safely and in accordance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance policies and procedures are implemented and carried out
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
• Inspect, troubleshoot and maintain equipment and technical systems (e.g. ventilation, electrical systems)
• Monitor and maintain safety systems such as fire alarms
• Coordinate maintenance needs across departments
• Work with external service providers and ensure cost-effective operations
• Ensure compliance with QHSE, HACCP and safety procedures

We are looking for someone who has

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience or similar role is an absolute requirement
• Technical schools or Fagbrev is an advantage, but relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal competences
• Good English and Norwegian skills, both written and spoken
• General technical competence and practical problem-solving skills
• Experience with MS Office and digital tools
• Experience from the food industry and with HACCP is a plus

Additional information

• Location: Oslo Airport
• Position type: Full-time, length of assignment to be agreed (long term with option of for permanent position later)
• You must be able to pass a background check through the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority (Luftfartstilsynet)
• To pass background check in time, you must have been a resident of Norway/EU for minimum five years
