On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Structural / Senior Structural Analysis Engineer for an exciting offshore project. The role involves advanced structural analysis and design work in a multidisciplinary and international environment. The position can be based in Haugesund, Bergen, or Gothenburg.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering checks of structural design and fabrication drawings

  • Develop structural designs and perform analyses for main steel

  • Conduct linear and non-linear structural analyses using SESAM and Abaqus

  • Prepare structural design and technical reports

  • Interface and collaborate with other engineering disciplines

  • Ensure compliance with quality requirements, deadlines, and project standards

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the design and analysis of offshore structures

  • Strong multidisciplinary understanding

  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail, as well as effectively in teams

  • Proactive mindset --- seeks input when needed and shares knowledge openly

  • Cooperative work attitude and comfortable in a multicultural team environment

  • High commitment to quality and project deadlines

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in global analysis of offshore structures

    • Education:

  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent

    • Planned start date and duration:

    • Start date: 01/05/2026

    • End date: 01/05/2027
