In October 2018, the world was first introduced to Oche when our flagship venue opened in Torggata Oslo, Norway. THE ROLEAs the new General Manager for Oche Aker Brygge you will be fully accountable for all financials, KPI's and general P&L across your venue. A hands-on role you will oversee the business while developing the managers and team around you. Reporting into the Chief Operations Officer you will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the performance of your sites and be responsible for supporting the business, identifying areas for growth and driving sales. You will ensure consistently high results while empowering your team and nurturing the company's culture and values.
ABOUT YOUAs the new General Manager you will be an inspirational leader and someone who cares deeply about the development of their team. You will be proactive in your approach and are always looking at ways to improve. Positive, career focused and inclusive you will be a team player and ready to help with the growth of the business. Self motivated, organised and methodical in your approach you will be a great communicator and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS-
Proven experience of at least 3 years within a high volume hospitality business in Norway

An understanding of running a multifaceted venue

Have a keen eye for detail

Astute business awareness, understanding of the Oslo market and the industry as a whole

The ability to demonstrate full accountability of a business

The ability to measure achievements against budgets

Have a full understanding of P&L with a proven track record of growing a business

Fluent in Norwegian with a good standard of verbal and written English.
