Project Engineer in Ace Well Technology AS

We're looking for a dynamic and hands-on sales oriented Project Engineer to take the lead in delivering cutting-edge projects, primarily within Ace’s growing Completion portfolio, including our latest innovation, the Automated Control Line Clamp (ACLC). This role is all about making things happen: engaging with customers, collaborating with partners, driving product enhancements, supporting operations, and ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and right on time.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring project success through the following responsibilities:

• Build strong client relationships through regular meetings and proactive follow-up, ensuring seamless project planning and on-time execution.

• Collaborate closely with partners to deliver top-tier solutions that meet both quality and timeline expectations.

• Lead internal operations across assigned projects with confidence and clarity.

• Monitor internal orders, ensuring equipment is prepped and ready for smooth deployment.

• Analyze completed projects to capture lessons learned and fuel continuous improvement.

• Champion design improvements that align perfectly with customer needs and expectations.

• Work with Technology Dep. and other internal functions to handle RFQs and contribute to both the Completion and Well Construction portfolios.

• Travel as needed -- both onshore and offshore -- to support project success where it matters most.

• Ensure uncompromising adherence to QHSE standards, maintaining alignment with internal policies, client expectations, and industry benchmarks.

• Stay one step ahead by identifying potential risks early and proactively driving mitigation strategies at both project and departmental levels.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor or Master Engineering Degree, preferably within Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, or Offshore Engineering.

• Theoretical and hands-on experience with completion.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-3 years proven track record in a similar project engineer role, specifically within completion.

• Knowledge of QHSE related standards.

Skills:

• Driven by Business Development and technical sales.

• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.

• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• Highly organized and adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
