About the position
NHH in Bergen, Norway, invites applications to a full-time assistant professor position at the Department of Strategy and Management. We seek candidates with research and teaching interests in digitalisation, digital transformation and business process management. The position has a duration of four years and is directly connected to the Digital Transformation project. With funding from Equinor’s 'akademiaavtalen', the group works on research themes such as: digital platforms and ecosystems, digitalisation and business process management and responsible digitalisation.
You will be part of a strong and supportive team of researchers dedicated to producing research with an international outreach in high-ranked publication outlets. The position involves teaching on average one course per year and some graduate supervision.
Employment requires a Ph.D. in information systems or adjacent fields, or business administration with a relevant specialisation. Candidates should have completed a doctoral degree from a well-recognised Ph.D. program within the last five years and should document a strong publication pipeline. It is an advantage if the candidate is able to teach in one of the Scandinavian languages. Experience in teaching is a strength, but not a requirement, as NHH offers pedagogical training to prepare faculty for an all-round career in academia. The appointee must take one basic module of the programme for university pedagogy during the fixed-term period.
