We are seeking a structured and business-minded Commercial Excellence Director to strengthen revenue management, sales effectiveness and customer strategy at Ekornes. You will be joining one of the Nordic region’s most iconic industrial companies -- the home of Stressless®, Svane® and IMG. With global operations and a proud heritage dating back to 1934, Ekornes combines Scandinavian craftsmanship and forward-thinking innovation to create furniture that improves everyday living.
As Commercial Excellence Director, you will take the lead in developing and deploying commercial tools, practices and insights across markets. As a hands-on and analytical leader who can bring structure, momentum and measurable results to a fast-moving global sales organisation, you will work at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping local teams improve performance while shaping a more consistent, insight-driven commercial approach across markets.
As Commercial Excellence Director at Ekornes, you will:

lead initiatives in revenue management, sales process development and customer segmentation

build and implement practical frameworks for pricing, discount logic, CRM and performance tracking

work closely with regional teams to identify and scale best practices across diverse markets and channels

develop simple, scalable tools and dashboards that improve transparency and decision-making

support leadership and commercial teams in adopting new ways of working and building commercial capabilities

contribute to long-term value creation by improving how we plan, prioritise and partner across customer segments
We are looking for a strategically minded and commercially grounded leader with solid experience from commercial excellence, sales operations and/or revenue management in a complex, international environment. You bring a deep understanding of customer development, pricing and margin optimisation, and have led cross-functional initiatives that connect data, systems and sales performance making sure these get implemented in the local markets. You combine analytical strength with the ability to translate insights into action, and thrive in driving collaboration across markets, functions and cultures. You are fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and collaborate closely with the CMO, global marketing, Finance and regional sales teams. The role is part of the group management structure (L2) and can be based in Oslo, or one of our international locations depending on candidate profile.
