Looking for an experience Quality Manager to develop and lead our quality function. 

We are establishing a new manufacturing operation in Norway and are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to develop and lead our quality function.

This is a key role in the organization and offers the opportunity to establish and shape the quality systems, processes, and culture from the start . While we are building the local organization, you will work closely with an experienced international team with strong backgrounds in advanced and regulated manufacturing environments.

The role suits someone who enjoys working close to production, building robust systems, and creating a strong quality culture in collaboration with engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

As our Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest standards of reliability, traceability, and regulatory compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Establishing, developing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)

• Ensuring product compliance with technical, regulatory, and customer requirements

• Planning and conducting internal audits and preparing the organization for external audits

• Leading non-conformance management, including 8D, CAPA, and root cause analysis

• Overseeing incoming, in-process, and final quality control

• Developing and strengthening quality processes across the manufacturing value chain

• Building and developing the quality team as the organization grows

• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and safety requirements

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and engineering

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who combines technical understanding of manufacturing processes with a structured and pragmatic approach to quality management.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing

• Experience from certified production environments

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001

• Experience working closely with production and engineering teams

• Leadership or team management experience

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is an advantage

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial

• Strong communication skills with good spoken and written English

Experience from high-reliability industries such as advanced manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, defence, or other regulated sectors is considered an advantage.
