As QHSE Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure that the company's QHSE activities in Norway are conducted in accordance with internal and external requirements, promoting safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective QHSE processes in Norway, as well as monitoring and continuously improving the company's QHSE performance in the region.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Root cause analysis and investigations of QHSE incidents, ensuring QHSE standards are met, and findings are addressed
- Provide guidance and training to employees on QHSE protocols, including safety procedures, quality standards, and environmental practices.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of QHSE response plans, such as emergency, crisis, and infection response plans
- Maintain the integrity of QHSE reporting systems (e.g. observations (SCOP), incident reports (IRS), audits findings, environmental reports, etc)
- Review and enhance integrated risk management processes to effectively manage QHSE risks.
- Together with the global QHSE team, develop and implement annual QHSE campaigns in Norway.
- Lead and oversee sustainability reporting processes aligned with industry practices (e.g. climate plan, sustainability reporting, CDP report, ESG ratings) in Norway.
QHSE experience is preferred, but not required. We equally value candidates with the right mindset and attitude
- Perform the task independently and maintain integrity in their the work
- SharePoint & Power Platform (specifically PowerBI, PowerApps) experience preferred
- Data discipline and understanding of management systems
- Proactive and persistence in their day to day tasks
- Self-starter and problem solver with a can-do attitude
- Preferred experience within the energy sector
