We are looking for a skilled and diligent colleague for the N2 technology team to develop, design and engineer plasma systems for distributed production of nitrates -- a key compound in fertiliser production. A dedicated engineer with an inquiring mind and a drive for change.

Your typical tasks and responsibilities:

System development

• Develop and update system and component specifications

• Develop schematics/diagrams (Flow, piping etc.)

• Contribute with component and sub system testing/qualification

• Contribute in FMECA, Safety risk assessment and HAZOP studies

Design and layout

• Layout drawings / 3D Modelling

• Basic analysis (Flow and thermal)

• Material selection

• Product data management and tools

• Design for efficient production, assembly and service

Fabrication documentation

• Develop detail and assembly drawings

• Create and maintain Bill of Material

• Contribute with development of test procedures (FAT)

As part of the Plasma team you will cooperate closely with N2 Applied’s Systems team to develop the technology at the forefront of the field.

Your qualifications and experience:

• B.Sc. or higher in engineering

• Technical understanding and interest are prerequisites

• Practical hands-on work experience and interest is an advantage

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in relevant technology fields.

• Familiarity with thermodynamics, electromagnetics or high-temperature processes is an advantage

We are looking for a self-starter, a team player and a pragmatic resolver. The role can be adapted to your qualifications and interests

Other expectations:

• Fluent written and spoken Norwegian and English

• Some travelling must be expected

The workplace will be either at our Technology Centre in Svene (near Kongsberg) or at our Head Office in Asker.
