You will join our Automation & Process Control team, which is responsible for integrated automation system (IAS) deliveries vessels in the offshore and merchant segments. Our team specializes in LNG process simulation and control, energy management, thruster control, as well as vessel automation control and alarm handling.

For our segments of responsibility, we are a stakeholder to internal product departments for engineering efficiency tools and new product capabilities. Additionally, we also specify, plan and execute technical feasibility studies for extended customer value propositions, currently with a high focus on emission management, in close cooperation with customers and our sales department

We work closely with international colleagues in our projects, and our engineers travel for sea / gas trials and commissioning support.

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Software Delivery Department. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions for marine and offshore systems, from engineering and configuration to commissioning and sea trials.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering, automation, computer science, or a related field
• Proven experience with automation systems or marine equipment and control systems
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English and Norwegian

• Own the software lifecycle from development to delivery
• Prepare for and actively participate in various project stages, including IAT, FAT, and CAT
• Engage in commissioning activities
• Provide technical support to other departments as needed
• Contribute to the successful implementation of the new K-Chief product
• Travel as required to support project needs
