As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for a: Field Piping Engineer for an exciting project at Stord .

The project operates as 14/21 Day Rotation.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Assist production with solving the technical problems which could occur during the execution of the fabrication and installation work at construction site

• Assist production with interpretation of drawings and job basis

• Prepare work basis and documentation for technical solutions (TC) in cooperation with the Fabrication Engineering

• Quality and punctuality of own deliveries based on procedures/routines established in the project

• Close communication with work leader (FIL), method, fabrication engineering, PRE, and others.

• Contribute to continual improvements work.

We think you should have:

• Experience as Field Engineer within Piping discipline

• Knowledge and use of the 3D tool

• Good knowledge of MIPS and Navis

• Bachelor or technical degree. Relevant construction experience may compensate for formal education

• Active and solution-oriented approach

• Fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
