Housekeeper – Isbreen The Glacier

Isbreen The Glacier is a small and exclusive Arctic retreat located in Jøkelfjord, Northern Norway. With only five igloos and a main building where all meals are served, we offer our guests a highly personal and refined experience in spectacular natural surroundings.

We are looking for 1-2 reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers, for full-time or part-time positions, who take pride in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Attention to detail is essential in our small, exclusive retreat, where quality and consistency define the guest experience.

The positions are primarily seasonal , from September to April , with the possibility of year-round employment. We are seeking applicants who live locally or are willing to relocate to the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of igloos and guest areas, including preparation of igloos before guest arrivals and after departures

• Cleaning of the main building, including kitchen facilities, dining and common areas where meals are served

• Laundry and handling of linens and towels

• Ensuring cleanliness meets high hygiene and quality standards at all times

• Reporting any maintenance issues or damages

• Other practical tasks may also be required as needed, depending on daily operations

Who We Are Looking For

• You are reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently

• You have a strong attention to detail and take pride in high-quality cleaning

• You are comfortable with physically active work and practical tasks

• You hold a valid driver's license

• You live locally or are willing to relocate to the area

• Experience from housekeeping or similar work is an advantage, but not required

• You are able to communicate in English or a Scandinavian language - AI written applications will not be considered

• Two relevant work references are required - these need to be included in the initial application.
