We're on the hunt for a passionate and outgoing Northern Lights Guide to lead unforgettable aurora tours. If you love storytelling, meeting new people, and capturing magical moments on camera, this is your chance to turn Arctic nights into something truly spectacular.

Job Description: Northern Lights Guides -- Seasonal, temporary contract 1 November 2026 - 31 March 2027

Paid per tour (rate to be agreed upon).

Equiptment and traning will be provided by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and guide groups of tourists on Northern Lights tours in and around Tromsø.

· Provide guests with information about the Northern Lights, including scientific explanations and cultural significance.

· Take pictures of the Northern Lights and capture portraits of guests with the Northern Lights as a backdrop.

· Assist guests with photography tips and techniques to help them capture stunning images of the Northern Lights.

· Prepare and serve hot drinks, and provide dinner on some of our tours.

· Start and manage a campfire when needed, ensuring safety and a comfortable experience for guests.

· Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests during tours.

· Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all guests.

· Stay informed about current Northern Lights forecasts and local weather conditions.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Working experience as a guide or related positions.

· Knowledge of the Northern Lights, including scientific and cultural aspects.

· Excellent photography skills, with the ability to teach and assist guests in capturing high-quality photos. Especially night photography

· Very good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus, but not required.
