Special Educational Needs Teacher
Starting date: 01.08.2025
Type: Fixed term contract until 31.07.2026 (100%)
Working hours: regular office working hours (37,5 hours / week), 5 weeks holiday.
The successful candidate will support students with special educational needs (SEN) and to deliver interventions in the school (with a particular focus on Years 1 to 5) in accordance with the published SEN policy and the requirements of Norwegian law.
We are looking for someone who will:

be responsible for student support
-
be responsible for delivering academic interventions
-
be responsible for student social development
-
work with students both inside and outside the classroom as is required
-
work with the SENCO to develop the provision for students with special educational needs and those students who require additional support
-
contribute to the development of SEN provision
-
inform the SENCO of interventions and meetings in support of students with SEN
-
provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff and parents
-
working with teachers & students to support behaviour management
-
an exciting international work environment;
