We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to play a key role in scaling our CIU product line and driving revenue growth.
SES Energy (previously named Swire Energy Services) has been in the Oil & Energy industry since 1979 and is the world’s largest supplier of specialist offshore containers to the energy sector.
Our fully integrated service package encompasses aviation, integrity and chemicals services for customers across the oil & gas, offshore wind and marine sectors.
Following the recent acquisition of Chemical Injection Utilities (CIU), we are strengthening our chemical and engineered services offering.
CIU provides high-quality, reliable chemical injection solutions to clients worldwide and represents a key growth area for the business.
The roleThis is a high-impact role with direct responsibility for driving growth, expanding market share, and shaping the commercial direction of the CIU product line.
The role will translate global commercial strategy into regional execution, with a strong focus on pipeline development, disciplined sales execution, and revenue growth.
Key responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and converting new business opportunities within the CIU product line.
You will own and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and maintaining disciplined use of CRM systems.
You will act as a key point of contact for customers, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
In addition, you will support the development of key accounts and contribute to strengthening long-term customer engagement.
A key part of the role will be to identify new markets, applications, and commercial opportunities, supporting the expansion of the CIU offering.
You will also take an active role in preparing commercial proposals, tenders, and bids, contributing to pricing, negotiations, and closing of strategic deals.
You will be expected to ensure strong commercial discipline and adherence to internal governance processes, while also representing the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to strengthen market presence and visibility.
When it comes to your personal attributes, it´s important for us that you:- Have a high degree of drive and are proactive
- Have a strong customer focus
- Are results oriented with clear focus on revenue delivery
- Are able to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Relevant sales or business development experience within technical or industrial sectors
- Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
- A formal degree is desirable, but not essential
- Ability to translate technical solutions into customer value
- Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
- Willingness to travel as required
