Pipelife Norge is seeking a Country Finance Director to play a central role in shaping the company`s future growth, operational excellence and financial performance.
This is a business-critical leadership position, strategic partnering and responsibility for the Business Support Center in Norway.
The role sits at the intersection of finance, operations and continuous improvement in one of Norway’s leading industrial companies.
About the roleAs Country Finance Director, you will be the leading finance executive in Norway and a close strategic and operational sparring partner to the Managing Director and the local leadership team.
In addition to leading the finance function, you will have overall responsibility for the Business Support Center and play a key role in strengthening business performance, governance and decision support across the organization.
The Country Finance Director reports to the Managing Director of Pipelife Norge and works closely with Group Finance within the Wienerberger organization.
You will be responsible for strengthening the company’s financial and business support platform while actively contributing to improved performance, stronger governance and better decision-making across the business.
The role includes responsibility for:
-
finance, accounting, controlling, reporting, tax and treasury
-
budgeting, forecasting, cost control and performance follow-up
-
CAPEX controlling, investment appraisal and post-investment review
-
procurement, internal control and compliance
-
leadership and development of the Norwegian Business Support Center, ensuring efficient processes and a high performing team
-
business partnering to local leadership on strategic and operational matters
-
implementation of KPIs, process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
We are looking for a senior finance leader with strong industrial and operational understanding, ideally from manufacturing, production, industrial operations or other asset-intensive environments.
You combine analytical strength with sound business judgment and a genuine interest in how operational performance translates into business results.
You are able to build credibility across both management and production environments and enjoy working close to where decisions and value creation happen.
We believe the right candidate will bring:

a strong academic background in finance, accounting, controlling or a related field
-
substantial experience from a senior finance or business leadership role in manufacturing or industry
-
solid knowledge of controlling, accounting, governance and compliance
-
a proven record of driving performance improvement, leading change initiatives and translating financial insight into business action
-
proven leadership experience and the ability to develop strong teams
-
experience operating successfully in matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders and international reporting requirements
-
strong systems skills, ideally including SAP
-
fluency in English and a Scandinavian language, written and spoken

Location is flexible and can be agreed.
