Proposal Engineer - Subsea

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Proposal Engineer who will play a key role in the early phases of our subsea projects. In this role, you will develop high‑quality technical and commercial proposals and work closely with the Tendering Manager and other key stakeholders across the organization.

As our Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing technical and commercial proposals

• Preparing, structuring and budgeting tenders

• Reviewing ITTs/RFQs/RFPs and identifying scope, risks and clarifications

• Participating in tender boards

• Identifying technical, commercial and contractual risks

• Communicating and coordinating with Supply Chain

• Acting as a point of contact for clients during the tender process

• Reviewing Terms & Conditions

• Supporting forecasting activities together with the Tendering Manager and Sales Department

Who are we looking for?
Someone who brings the following:

• 3--5 years of relevant experience

• BSc/MSc in Subsea Engineering, Marine Engineering, or equivalent

• Experience from Project Engineering, Project Management, or Sales

• Technical knowledge of subsea pipelines, materials and equipment

• Good understanding of relevant oil & gas standards/codes

• Strong software skills (e.g., MS Office, Autodesk)

• Contractual knowledge is an advantage

• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken
