At Azane, we’re building the infrastructure that enables ships to run on zero-carbon ammonia. We develop and build ammonia bunkering solutions that make it possible for shipowners to transition from fossil fuels to clean alternatives.

We are now building our core team -- do you want to be a key part of our journey? We offer core roles at the intersection of technology, safety and operations.

These are not a traditional roles with a narrow scope. Instead, you will sit at the heart of Azane’s technical and operational work, helping us turn complex projects into safe, compliant and reliable real‑world operations.

You will work closely with the CEO and play a central role in shaping:

• How we design and deliver our solutions, by turning projects into solutions.

• How we prepare for and execute operations, by contributing to operational planning, procedures, training and readiness.

• How we build a strong safety culture, by owning safety and quality as we grow.

With support from Enova, we have secured 442 million NOK, enabling us to start the major and necessary shift toward ammonia as a maritime fuel. We are establishing three ammonia bunkering terminals in Mongstad, Florø and Risavika, among the first of their kind in Europe.

The purpose of these projects are to make ammonia readily available as a fuel for vessels operating along the coast and offshore. Ammonia is widely regarded as a promising zero‑emission alternative for the maritime sector.

To make this happen we need a strong core team that have the ability to take ownership, navigate complexity and drive our solution from concept to implementation in the field.

We are open to different backgrounds within technical, operational or safety‑critical environments, and we think you might thrive the best if you:

• Are comfortable working across disciplines -- from engineering and safety to people and operations

• Enjoy taking responsibility and making things work in practice

• Are structured when needed, but pragmatic when reality requires it

• Are motivated by Azane’s mission to enable zero‑carbon shipping

Experience with gas handling, alternative fuels, maritime operations or regulated industries is an advantage, but not a requirement. We care more about mindset and learning ability than perfect industry alignment.
