About the role

We are looking for a Senior LCI (Life Cycle Information) Professional to join our team in Stavanger. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, integrity, and completeness of instrumentation data and documentation across both ongoing projects and operational assets.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes related to instrumentation and technical information management.

Key responsibilities

• Design and update instrument loops for projects and operational assets.
• Identify and correct missing or inconsistent information in the engineering database.
• Establish and quality-assure fire and gas (F&G) loops in SmartPlant instrumentation (SPI) for upgrade projects in operation.
• Perform full-scale data imports in SPI, including extraction, quality checks, import, and verification of equipment, cables, and connections.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete data in SPI.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of work processes related to instrumentation and LCI.
• Provide technical support and quality assurance within operations.

Qualifications and experience

• Extensive experience as an SPI super-user or administrator, including import tools and the project module.
• Background in the oil and gas/process industry, particularly with SPI deliveries in both project and operational phases.
• Solid understanding of loop design, cable structures, and IO card configurations in SPI.
• Experience with technical information management and system integration.
• Ability to drive cost optimization and efficiency improvements in SPI deliveries.
• Strong competence in instrumentation and technical documentation.
• Skilled in using CAD tools and updating technical drawings.
• Thorough understanding of LCI processes and systems, including relationships between equipment and documentation.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused work approach.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Must speak English and Norwegian fluently.
