Qpaws dog tracking app is looking for an «app wizard» to lead shaping and contribute to scaling a platform loved by thousands of dog owners in the Nordics and beyond.

You’ll join early and go deep — coding, testing, designing, iterating — and pushing the product forward in ways that actually matter to users (and their dogs).

You’ll be trusted with autonomy, encouraged to ship quickly, iterate smartly, and constantly explore new ideas — while staying connected closely to a tight-knit team as we're gearing up for rapid growth.

You might be the one if you...

Care about UX and UI. Like, really care. You want every screen to feel snappy, clear and joyful to use.
Know React Native inside out, and stay sharp on the latest stacks and practices. You may also have experience with native iOS and/or Android.
Have helped ship real apps with commercial success — and know what it takes to get there.
Are fluent in TypeScript and know how to keep code clean, typed, and maintainable.
Knows some (or all?) of these keywords: TanStack, Zod, tRPC, Bun, Postgres, Docker, Figma, Drizzle, Expo, Monorepo, LocalFirst. (Mention which ones when applying!)
Love using tools like Copilot, Cursor or Windsurf to speed up the grunt work — and focus on real logic.
Are pragmatic: you know when to go deep, and when to ship and move on.
Are not afraid of legacy — you respect the past, but you’re here to build the future.
Want real influence, and maybe even a co-founder role.

Qpaws is a fast-growing social activity platform for dog owners — often described as “Strava for dogs.” With over 32,000 dogs already registered, we’re helping people track, manage, and share their dogs’ training, health and adventures in one app.

We’re based in Oslo, Norway, and now preparing for international scale.

Hybrid-flexible setup: Join us in Oslo if you’re nearby, or work remote with regular syncs and in-person team time.
