To do that, our product teams need a rock-solid foundation to build upon, and that’s where you come in.

At RiksTV and Strim, we build services that people use every day. We have high ambitions for both our technology and user experience, and we are looking for an SRE to help build and evolve our cloud infrastructure. You will also develop tools that make our development teams' lives easier. You will work closely with other teams to ensure a robust platform and assist with architecture discussions and technology choices. Does this sound like a fit for you?

Who we are 🧑 💻

In the SRE team, we build and maintain a modern, reliable platform that powers the services behind RiksTV and Strim . Our goal is to provide developers with a robust platform that helps them deliver faster and more confidently. As part of the SRE team, you’ll be working on:

• Evolving our AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) platform using IaC tools like Terraform with resilience, performance, and security in mind.
• Evolving our developer platform tools that make it easy for developers to do their best work safely and efficiently.
• Improving our observability stack (metrics, logs, traces)
• Collaborating closely with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and developer experience.

Who we're looking for 🚀

We're seeking an engineer with a practical, hands-on mindset who is passionate about building for the long term. You likely have:

• Strong Cloud & DevOps experience: You've worked with a major cloud provider like AWS in production and are comfortable with its core services (networking, IAM, compute, storage).
• A knack for code: You have scripting or software engineering skills, ideally in Python, and a passion for automation.
• Infrastructure as code skills: You have hands-on experience with tools like Terraform and believe in Git-based, automated workflows.
• **A reliability mindset:**You naturally think about failure modes, capacity, performance, and how to build resilient systems.
• Great communication skills: You can explain complex ideas clearly and enjoy bringing others along on the journey.
