We are searching for a Tender Engineer!

We’re looking for a Tender Engineer who’s eager to combine technical insight with a commercial mindset. In this role, you’ll support our Commercial Department in managing and promoting our fleet of vessels, barges, and services. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the company, contributing to smart and sustainable solutions for our clients. You’ll have room to take responsibility and make decisions within the company’s established guidelines and budgets.

Key responsibilities

As a Tender Engineer, you will play a key role in developing technical and commercial solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will cover a broad range of tasks, giving you the opportunity to use both your analytical and creative skills.

You will review tender documents from both a technical and commercial perspective, and prepare technical tender documents and feasibility studies in close collaboration with our commercial team. Typical work includes:

• Performing hydrostatic analyses for load-outs, submersions, and transports

• Creating arrangement drawings and step-by-step illustrations for operational descriptions

• Developing visualizations (2D and 3D) and written operational descriptions

• Bollard pull/ Strength assessment

• You will also prepare commercial tender documentation as needed.

Beyond the technical scope, you’ll take part in client meetings, conferences, and exhibitions, helping to represent our company and build strong professional relationships. You’ll help maintain our internal databank to support future tenders, and contribute to marketing and branding activities that showcase what we do.

We value collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement. You’ll be part of our ongoing work to enhance the HSEQ Management System, ensure that risks are identified and managed responsibly, and look for smarter, safer, and more efficient ways to deliver results.

Depending on your experience and capacity, you may also take on the role of Project Manager for selected projects. And, as part of a flexible and supportive team, you’ll occasionally assist with other tasks as requested by the Chartering Manager Barges or the CCO.

We are looking for:

We believe you enjoy working together with others and bring a commercial mindset and a solution-oriented attitude to your work. You probably have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field, and a good understanding of hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, and strength analysis.

Experience with project engineering, marine operations, or semi-submersible barges will definitely be an advantage, but the most important thing is that you’re eager to learn and contribute.

You’re comfortable using tools such as AutoCAD, hydrostatic software, 3D modelling programs, and MS Excel, and you take a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, help you collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
