Are you ready to lead technical excellence and drive sustainable growth in the marine industry? ABB Marine & Ports is looking for a dynamic Bid Manager to take charge of technical bidding and solution development, with a strong focus on modernization, decarbonization, and Installed Base penetration.
This is a strategic role where engineering meets business, and where your leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitable growth.
Your Main FunctionAs Bid Manager, you will ensure that all technical solutions and bid activities meet ABB’s high standards for quality, safety, and financial performance. You’ll contribute to sales targets by identifying and securing technical sales opportunities, while promoting ABB’s Marine System Service and decarbonization portfolio in close collaboration with Segment Sales and other service units.
Key Responsibilities-
Strategic Leadership: Define and implement sales strategies for power system solutions, focusing on upgrades, modernization, and new technologies

Sales Performance: Ensure bids follow best practices and ABB policies, while committing to sales targets and managing opportunities in Salesforce.

Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients through collaboration with front-end sales and service teams, promoting a unified “One ABB” approach.

Operational Excellence: Streamline service processes using efficient tools, and continuously improve scope and solution offerings.

Safety & Integrity: Ensure all activities comply with ABB’s health, safety, and environmental policies, proactively managing risks to protect people and assets.

Interested in ABB technologies, passionate of ABB mission and strategy and you truly care about your customers’ success.

Technical studies (Degree in Engineering, Bachelor’s or Technical College)

Proven experience in sales or operational service environments

Solid understanding of marine systems
